News & Announcements

    • Sunday Worship Update: In light of daily case counts remaining above 10,000 (even with fewer people now eligible to take a PCR test), and the concerning rise in hospitalizations for COVID, Session (our leadership team) has decided to extend the suspension of in-person worship services to the end of January. We will review the public health situation at our February 1st meeting and update the congregation on any changes that week. Our prayers continue to be with all of you and your families in this challenging time.
    • Family Worship Video: With worship being online only for next several weeks, Rev. Read will once again be offering a Family Worship video on his YouTube channel. This will premier at 8:30am on Sundays, and will include an interactive game, introduce the Big God theme and memory verse, and present the Big God story lesson for the week. A link to the Family Worship video will be included in Rev. Read’s Saturday email.
    • Latest Vaccination Information: Third doses of COVID-19 vaccine (aka booster shots) are available to everyone 18 years of age and over. The required waiting time for a third dose is 3 months (84 days) from your second dose. To confirm that you are eligible go to: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine/. To book your vaccination or booster shot is to use the City of Hamilton vaccination website: https://www.hamilton.ca/coronavirus/covid-19-vaccination. Getting your third dose of vaccine is the best way to protect yourself, your family and friends against the rapidly spreading Omicron variant.
