As you can see from the photo the steel is up and the new sign on the gym exterior wall. We’re progressing valiantly towards 2018.
On December 24 St. Andrew’s will be holding two Christmas Eve services. Our morning service at 10:30am will be the children’s Christmas play. At 7:00pm we will be holding our traditional candlelit service of lessons and carols. Come join us as we celebrate the good news of Jesus being born into the world.
While the celebration of Christmas is a time of joy, it can also be a difficult time of year for many people. Whether it is the shortened days, the financial stress that often comes with the holidays, or the loss of loved ones, the joy of Christmas is often accompanied by sadness. Quiet Christmas service offers a space where people can find some calm and care in the middle of all the busyness.

This week we open the Season of Advent with a Teaching Service led by our Band. Is Advent more than just little chocolates in a calendar counting down to Christmas? Come find out as we light the first of our candles and learn the benefit of waiting.

This week is Remembrance Sunday. We will remember those who have served and died, and reflect on Christ’s call to be peacemakers
This Sunday is a Band Sunday where all ages worship and learn together for the full service. Our focus this week will be on the practice of prayer. Everyone agrees prayer is important, but many struggle with just how to pray, and what it’s really all about. Come this Sunday to get the basics on what prayer is, and some helpful practices to deepen your prayer life.
Liz Struthers: Liz and her husband Bob were long time members of St. Andrew’s. Visitation will be from 1-2pm at Dodsworth and Brown on Saturday October 21. A memorial service and reception will be held at St. Andrew’s at 3pm the same day.
Margaret Marton, a long time member of St. Andrew’s, passed away on Tuesday. Visitation will be at Dodsworth and Brown from 2-4pm and 7-9pm Sunday Oct 22, and the funeral will be at 11am Monday Oct 23 at the funeral home.
