Today is Palm Sunday when we celebrate Jesus humbly coming to Jerusalem as King. But the Gospel also tells us that Jesus is a different kind of king, a king who suffers and dies to bring forgiveness and peace. We’ll be exploring this paradox in our service today as we conclude our worship series, “Walking The Way Of The Cross.” Our services are recorded, so you can go to our website to find previous messages: www.standrews.ws

Next Steps for New Beginnings:

Our New Beginnings Assessment went very well on March 6th. Many thanks to everyone who attended and contributed. In 5-6 weeks, the Session will receive our Assessment Report and be assigned a Coach to see us through the rest of the process. Shortly after this the Coach will lead a Transformational Ministry Weekend. This will involve an open workshop on a Friday evening, a small group leader training event on the Saturday, and special worship led by the Coach on Sunday. The report will be shared with the whole congregation through small group meetings following the Weekend. Session will communicate the date of this weekend as soon as we have one, as it is very important to have everyone take part.
