Death, Dying and Planning for Later Life – St. Andrew’s will be hosting two workshops open to anyone in our community,
– Saturday May 9: Our focus will be on approaching death and dying from the perspective of Christian faith and hope, as well as preparing ourselves emotionally and spiritually.
– Saturday May 23: Our focus will be on advance planning for later life and death (wills, power of attorney, health care choices, long-term care) as well as funeral and memorial planning.

Hike The Valley Fundraiser – Barb Raphael will be participating in Hike The Valley, a fundraiser for Margaret’s Place hospice, on Tuesday, May 26.  This is a great way to support her and others needing such care. A donation basket will be available.

Calling all Quilters! – We are hosting a Quilt Exhibit at the Ancaster Heritage Days on Saturday, June 13.  We will be collecting the quilts. new or old, in the weeks leading up to June 13 and returning them immediately after. See volunteers wanted in the Activities page.

Heritage Sunday 2026 & Griffin Stone Restoration- Heritage Sunday is on June 14 as a part of Ancaster Heritage Days. On this Sunday, we reflect on the history of St. Andrew’s Ancaster and include a time of remembrance in the church cemetery for all those who have gone before us.

Knit 4 Need – Our Knit 4 Need knitters meet on Wednesdays from 2 – 4 pm at the home of Edith Carlton, #14-210 Fiddlers Green Road.

Prayer Gatherings – Our Lectio Divina group meets on Wednesdays at 9:30 am. Our Prayer Team meets on Thursdays at 9:30 am. Both groups meet in the sanctuary.
