This week we take an important detour in our series on Colossians. The short Letter to Philemon (just 25 verses) is essential to understanding what Paul has to say about the Christian household and slavery in Colossians 3:18-4:6. So, we’ll spend this message in Philemon and finish up that final part of Colossians on June 9.
A special thank you to St. Paul’s Church, Carluke for allowing us to use their sanctuary for our service this weekend during the Canadian Open.
In light of our Accompanist Bob’s Marshall’s forthcoming retirement at the end of June, we are posting selections from St. Andrew’s music team and choir over the next month.

This week we continue our series on the Paul’s Letter to the Colossians, by looking at Colossians 3:1-17. We explore what Paul means when he says we die and rise with Jesus, and how this is lived out practically in a life of gratitude and goodness.
This week we continue our series on the Paul’s Letter to the Colossians, by looking at Colossians 2:1-23. This is a very dense chapter, but the focus is helping us to recognize that if Jesus is everything Paul says he is in chapter 1, then he is more than enough to meet all of our needs.
This week we continue our new series on the Apostle Paul’s Letter to the Colossians. This week we look at Colossians 1:9-29. We take time to meditate on Pauls’ poetic reflection on who Jesus is as the Son of God and the one who holds all things together (Colossians 1:15-20). This week we conclude our new Easter series , “He Goes Ahead Of Us.” We jump over to the resurrection story found in John 21:1-14 this week, as we consider how to open ourselves to seeing God and Jesus right where we are.
This week we continue our new Easter series , “He Goes Ahead Of Us.” We pick up where we left off last week in Mark 16, looking at the resurrection stories told verses 9-20. These stories invite us to be open to the ways that Jesus is present with us as he calls us out into new journeys and challenges. He goes ahead of us, yet also walks with us.
