Home Worship – Sunday December 26, 2021

This Sunday December 26 is the 1st Sunday of Christmas. Worship this week will be online only.

    • In light of the continuing rise in COVID cases and statements from the Chief Medical Officer of Health anticipating several more weeks of very high case numbers, Session (St. Andrew’s leadership team) has decided to extend the suspension of in-person worship to at least January 9. The Session will review the public health situation at our regular meeting on January 4 and provide further updates.

The required waiting time for a third dose has dropped from 6 months (168 days) to 3 months (84) from your second dose. To confirm that you are eligible go to: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine/. To book your vaccination or booster shot is to use the City of Hamilton vaccination website: https://www.hamilton.ca/coronavirus/covid-19-vaccination. Getting your third dose of vaccine is the best way to protect yourself, your family and friends against the rapidly spreading Omicron variant.
    • Year End Donations: Be sure to get your year end donations to St. Andrew’s before December 31 so that you can receive the benefit on your 2021 tax return.  You can drop off cheques at the church building, make an e-transfer (email our treasurer at skorosi@cogeco.ca for details) or donate by PayPal at https://standrews.ws/give/.  Thank you to everyone who has given so generously in this challenging time.  Your year end gift will ensure that St. Andrew’s finishes 2021 in a good financial position.

Christmas Eve 2021

Worship on Sunday December 26 will also be online only. Session will be making a decision shortly about worship plans for January and posting the news here on our website.
