The Annual Remembrance and Decoration Day Service on June 11th, which coincides with the Ancaster Heritage Week, is an opportunity to celebrate this day in worship and honour family members and friends buried in the cemetery. This year the Memorial will be at the end of the regular 10:30 a.m. service of worship.
May 28th will be a Band Sunday. The St. Andrew’s band will lead us in praise on May 28 as all ages worship and learn together what it means to say Jesus ‘Ascended into Heaven.’
SAT 13 MAY, Outdoor Spring Clean Up: We need helpers on Sat May 13th, 9am, to help clean up outside. We want to look good for heritage days. Bring your own rake, gloves, etc. Coffee and muffins will be provided
Important Accessibility Project Update
The Accessibility Project Team is extremely pleased to announce that we have received the building permit from the City of Hamilton!
The permit process has taken approximately eight months and has required multiple minor variances from the City’s Committee of Adjustments, an Encroachment Agreement with the City (the building encroaches on the road allowance) and our agreement to build a new emergency exit from the back office.
With the approvals process now behind us, we will now focus on the next final steps, which include reviewing the final construction cost proposals and entering into a construction contract.
We will keep you up-to-date as we progress through these final steps before construction.

Bill Cowan: I regret to inform you that Bill Cowan passed away suddenly on Sunday the 26th of February. His “Service of Remembrance” will be held here at St. Andrews on Saturday March 4th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill’s honor to Mountview Public School or St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church building fund would be appreciated by the family. Please keep his wife and family in your prayers.
